Hardscape & Softscape Project Manager

We are currently looking for a Hardscape & Softscape Project Manager at a $55,000–$80,000 per year starting salary range with the potential for career advancement. Accepted candidates will receive a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule and the opportunity to manage and train crew members.

We’re looking for honest and hard-working applicants who are at least 18 years old and can both speak and read English. If you have plant knowledge for zone 5 plants; a background in construction management, engineering, or landscape architecture; the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; and you consider yourself a communicative and detail-oriented individual, you could be the perfect individual for the job.

In this role, you will:

• Use your excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office products to help keep the team on track.

• Demonstrate your comprehensive knowledge of construction site work with your ability to analyze situations, consider options, and decide on actions quickly.

• Be a responsible member of our team structure by holding others accountable.

• Participate in hands-on learning and instruction by willing to adapt to change and instructing those around you while managing hardscape/landscape installations.

• Exemplify your management skills when maintaining relationships between the contract administrator, subcontractors, general contractors, architects, customer clientele, owner, and project architects while maintaining quality standards.

• Utilize your mathematical skills when collecting down payments and receivables, building a rolling schedule, and ensuring that weekly and monthly reporting is up to date.

• Demonstrate your proficiency in all facets of landscape construction including retaining walls, patios, brick paver surfaces, concrete, decks, pergolas, gazebos, and general carpentry.

• Display your excellent written and oral communication skills when managing the installation of commercial and residential landscape projects, overseeing field personnel, managing subcontractors, and preparing bid submittals with a targeted gross profit and net profit.
